Nichele AllenPersonal Trainer & Yoga Instructor
Nichele completed her bachelors degree in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University, focusing on a pre-med concentration but decided not to pursue a medical degree. After graduating, Nichele found a love for kickboxing and it was there that she decided to take her pre-med background to the exercise field. She completed the accelerated program at the National Personal Training Institute and earned her CSCS and CPT certification from National Strength and Condition Association. She worked for NPTI for a year and half as their head instructor before working as a trainer full time. She has worked in corporate fitness, private gyms in Greenwich, Westport and Norwalk, for Equinox fitness clubs, and as well as her own private business venture. After 10years in the field, she is now joining the Mason St Strength team. In addition to her Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, she is a 200HR RYT yoga certified instructor with speciality certification in prenatal, restorative, and aerial yoga. She also has instruction in Pilates and kickboxing, as well as corrective exercise, post rehab training, and nutrition counseling from AASDN. She is currently working towards LMT distinction from Finger Lakes School of Massage. She has worked with clients ranging from 8 years old to 90 and of all fitness levels. Nichele's style of training includes a fusion of all of her continuing studies. Her own drive in the fitness industry is to continuously educate herself in various training modalities to share that knowledge with her clients. She believes in having a variety of training modalities so that no matter one's fitness level, there is a way to keep it fun and still accomplish one's training goals. Her philosophy is that every person she trains is an athlete, just not every one does it professionally. Some of us are just training for life.
