    Strength and Conditioning Coach

    Daniel Belli has taken his experience as a collegiate and semi-professional football player and uses it to help adults and youths reach their maximum fitness potential. Daniel’s functional training approach encompasses the mind and body and provides clients with a positive experience for achieving their fitness and lifestyle goals. In addition to working with clients directly, Daniel has also held management positions, both as a Fitness Training Manager and Personal Training Director, in fitness clubs throughout Connecticut and New York. Daniel’s ability to connect with and motivate clients has resulted in him being named a top performing trainer at several of the clubs at which he has worked. From late summer through the fall, Daniel can also be found coaching high school football players and guiding them on safe and effective strength training and conditioning. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Physical Education at Southern Connecticut State University, is certified in Physical Education K-12 by the State of Connecticut. Additional Certifications: FMS Level 1 & 2, CPR, First Aid, AED.

  • Shawn Harris

    Personal Trainer and Performance Coach

    Shawn Harris brings 10 years of training experience to creating Mason Street Strength, in addition to being a ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer and a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist. Shawn has worked with everyone from professional athletes to kids with special needs, from ages 8 to 84 – people of all abilities and fitness levels, including pre-surgery prep and post-surgery recovery. Shawn is experienced in a range of training modes to increase overall total fitness -- one on one, goal specific, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), large and small group training, and weight loss/gain. He is sought out for his ability to take clients to their limits and push past their beliefs of fitness ability to reach their goals. He creates all his routines and programs, ensuring they are safe, effective, and efficient. Prior to launching Mason Street Fitness, Shawn ran his own training company, Fitness and Performance Training LLC, specializing in at-home training and sports camps, and was a personal trainer at Peak Physique in Greenwich. Based on the impressive results he was achieving with student athletes, Shawn was named the assistant varsity coach for football, basketball, and track at Brunswick School in 2012. Shawn guides his athletes to the same success that he enjoyed on the field, as captain of the Southern Connecticut State University football team, and being named to the 2005 New England-10 All Conference 1st team and 2005 All New England 1st team.

  • Kyle Marandino

    Strength and Conditioning Coach

    Kyle is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. In addition, he is a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC), an elite certification that distinguishes individuals who have substantial experience as a strength and conditioning coach in the professional or collegiate setting. Prior to joining Mason Street Strength, Kyle was a Strength and Conditioning Coach within the Boston Red Sox organization where he assisted in the design and implementation of the strength and conditioning program for both major league and minor league players. Earlier Kyle worked as a Football Strength and Conditioning Intern at the University of South Carolina where he assisted in all aspects of the Gamecock football strength and conditioning program as well as with track and field.Kyle has also worked with male and female athletes from a wide variety of Division 1 sports at the University of Connecticut, Quinnipiac University, and in the high school setting. Kyle graduated from Springfield College with a BS in Applied Exercise Science.

  • Katie Bottini

    Strength and Conditioning Coach

    Katie grew up in Wilton, CT where she was a four-sport athlete playing field hockey, basketball, lacrosse, and even horseback riding. Katie was named an All American lacrosse player and was the captain of her High School lacrosse team. She then went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at UMASS-Amherst and Sacred Heart University. At college, Katie also began to pursue her love for health and fitness while studying exercise science and nutrition. In 2008, Katie began competing in triathlons (swimming, biking and running), and soon thereafter, began racing at the elite national level. From 2009 - 2014, Katie was named an All American Triathlete and she competed for Team USA in the 2012 Triathlon World Championships in New Zealand. Professionally, Katie has a diverse background in health and fitness. She began her career working as a physical therapist assistant where she acquired invaluable experience on proper training techniques, injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as maintaining a balanced and strong body. Katie also stayed active in the sports community by coaching her high school girl’s lacrosse team. In 2010, Katie also began working as a multisport endurance coach where she taught cycling, running and swim classes, as well as adult strength and kid strength classes. Katie also has experience working with children from coaching lacrosse and triathlon/running camps, kid fitness classes, to sport specific strength and conditioning. In 2013, she started her own fitness class called “Fun and Fit” for kindergarten through middle school children.

  • Mackenzie Carey

    Strength and Conditioning Coach

    A Fairfield County native, Mackenzie has always had a passion for sports and fitness. A tri-varsity athlete in high school, Mack went onto pursue his love for fitness, studying at Southern Connecticut State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in human performance. While at SCSU, Mack worked closely with the university’s Strength and Conditioning coach, assisting with all of the school’s male and female varsity athletic teams. After graduating from SCSU, Mackenzie continued as a strength and conditioning coach and has worked closely with teens, D1 athletes, triathletes, and club teams. Mackenzie uses his degree and intensive hands-on experiences to create customized programs and enhance sport-specific movement. He possesses a contagious positive attitude and expansive knowledge in the fitness industry to encourage and empower his clients to set and achieve goals. Mack includes scheduled tests throughout fitness program to provide clients with a tangible view of progress. Mack firmly believes that instructing proper form is key for injury prevention and incorporates this into his creative and individualized workouts that set his clients on the road for success.

  • Nichele Allen

    Personal Trainer & Yoga Instructor

    Nichele completed her bachelors degree in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University, focusing on a pre-med concentration but decided not to pursue a medical degree. After graduating, Nichele found a love for kickboxing and it was there that she decided to take her pre-med background to the exercise field. She completed the accelerated program at the National Personal Training Institute and earned her CSCS and CPT certification from National Strength and Condition Association. She worked for NPTI for a year and half as their head instructor before working as a trainer full time. She has worked in corporate fitness, private gyms in Greenwich, Westport and Norwalk, for Equinox fitness clubs, and as well as her own private business venture. After 10years in the field, she is now joining the Mason St Strength team. In addition to her Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, she is a 200HR RYT yoga certified instructor with speciality certification in prenatal, restorative, and aerial yoga. She also has instruction in Pilates and kickboxing, as well as corrective exercise, post rehab training, and nutrition counseling from AASDN. She is currently working towards LMT distinction from Finger Lakes School of Massage. She has worked with clients ranging from 8 years old to 90 and of all fitness levels. Nichele's style of training includes a fusion of all of her continuing studies. Her own drive in the fitness industry is to continuously educate herself in various training modalities to share that knowledge with her clients. She believes in having a variety of training modalities so that no matter one's fitness level, there is a way to keep it fun and still accomplish one's training goals. Her philosophy is that every person she trains is an athlete, just not every one does it professionally. Some of us are just training for life.
